纳米科技是20世纪80年代末逐步发展起来的前沿学科领域,该技术的出现将对未来科技、经济和社会发展产生重大影响,其迅速发展将极大地促进科学技术的革新并带动信息技术、生物技术、生态环境技术等领域的革命和跨越式发展。
由于我国纳米技术领域相关研究起步较早,目前纳米材料技术的基础研究水平与其他先进发达国家相比相差不大,部分方向甚至处于世界领先地位,其中关于纳米生物技术及其应用的研究尤为突出。纳米生物技术是国际生物技术领域的前沿和热点问题,在医药卫生领域有着广泛的应用和明确的产业化前景,特别是纳米药物载体、纳米生物传感器和成像技术以及微型智能化医疗器械等,将在疾病的诊断、治疗和卫生保健方面发挥重要作用。
中国国际纳米科学技术会议(ChinaNANO)已成功举办7次,作为国际纳米科技交流的一个重要平台,受到国内外科学家的广泛关注。目前,ChinaNANO已经发展成为纳米科学技术领域的品牌会议,成为中国科学家与国际学术界交流沟通的桥梁。
以2017年在北京举办的第七届ChinaNANO为契机,SCIENCE CHINA Life Sciences(《中国科学:生命科学》英文版)特邀国家纳米科学中心梁兴杰研究员,组织纳米生物、医学研究领域国内外知名学者撰文出版“Nanotechnology and nanomedicine”专辑。
该专辑重点展示和讨论了纳米技术在生命健康领域的新进展、新应用。专辑主要内容涉及纳米技术在抗肿瘤纳米药物(纳米药物输运体系)构建以及肥胖症、中枢神经系统疾病等疾病治疗中的应用。还收录了纳米医药工作者非常关注的纳米材料的生物学效应及安全性评价的内容。
希望通过专辑的出版,为纳米生物技术及纳米药物的未来发展提供一些新的思路,为纳米生物医学研究的交流提供平台。
